More Food for ThoughtFrom Katharine O'Moore-Klopf: Those of you who filter out messages tagged CHAT may not be aware of recent discussion about adding a CE-L cookbook to Copyediting-L Gear, the CE-L store. Listmate Geoff Hart compiled Food for Thought, a CE-L cookbook, in 1996, which is available in both PDF and PostScript format; you can download the files from the "Food for Thought" section at http://www.copyediting-l.info/. Geoff has consented to having Food for Thought also available through Copyediting-L Gear. Profits from the sale of Food for Thought and More Food for Thought (the new cookbook) go first toward paying Lisa Grabowski a very nominal amount for creating the CE-L logos, and then to Doctors Without Borders/Medecins San Frontieres. Here's how we stand thus far with plans for a new cookbook to be sold through the store: Please send your recipes to Naomi Young, at naomi.young@cox.net instead of her work address. If your recipe appeared in Food for Thought, it can't be included in More Food for Thought. You are encouraged to submit recipes of all types: difficult or easy, healthy or calorie-laden, finger foods to elegant desserts to beverages, kosher or nonkosher, spicy or mild. Yes, we do want recipes from all over the world--that's the CE-Lery way!
